What is Day Zero?

I started Day Zero as a place to bring together early stage founders that just started their companies & operators looking to start their next company or looking to join what is next.

The goals of Day Zero is:

• Attract top emerging founder talent in the SF Bay Area

• Support early builders with community, access, and early-stage funding opportunities

• Host IRL gatherings to build authentic relationships among the next generation of founders

• Help top operators find their next moves and connect them to the best founders

Matt Zothner - CEO of Currents: Matt just moved to the Bay Area after selling his company, Currents, and am looking at his next opportunity. He is a scrappy and hands-on generalist with an emphasis on growth and product looking for small teams to build with. Gabriela Suchanek - Gabriela is the founder of Fync. They're building an AI native finance engine that automates workflows and provides self serve insights for finance teams. She is looking for a technical lead that will own the architecture and scaling of our data and ml stack: from high volume ingestion pipelines to agent orchestration. Sheryl Chen - Hey, my name is Sheryl, Chief of Staff at Robyn AI (https://meetrobyn.com/), where we’re building the emotional OS of the future—empathetic AI designed to help people feel seen, understood, and truly connected.  We've raised a seed from M13 and angels including Lars Rasmussen (cofounder of Google Maps), Bill Tai (seed investor in Canva), Ken Goldman (former CFO of Yahoo), and Christian Szegedy (cofounder of X.ai).
